Jamaica’s Independent Anti-Doping Disciplinary Panel on Wednesday handed retired sprinter Nesta Carter a four-year ban for use of Clomiphene.
Carter faced an eight-year ban after testing positive for the substance in an out-of-competition test done in March this year.
In 2017, Carter served a three-month ban after the stimulant methylhexaneamine was found in a sample taken at the 2008 Olympics. This resulted in Jamaica losing the gold medal that was retained for the 4×100m relay in the Beijing Olympics. However, Carter and his teammates retained their gold medals from the sprint relay at the 2012 London Olympics.
