Russian users who tried to log on ‘Pornhub’, as well as ‘OnlyFans’, saw the message “content blocked” along with a Ukrainian flag and a message of support to Ukraine.

The same applies for persons who wish to watch adult content.

Reports are that the OnlyFans accounts of content creators in Russia are being deleted or blocked in the wake of the country’s invasion of Ukraine last week.

However, it is uncertain if the disappearance of the accounts from the London-based subscriber service is politically motivated or a byproduct of the latest round of crippling sanctions imposed on Russia in recent days.

Since the imposition, several kinky content creators spoke out on Sunday saying they could not share new videos and access money earned via their ‘OnlyFans’ accounts.

“In short term, I don’t have money to live, many models are faced with this, nobody thought it could happen,” Bunny Money told Rolling stone, alleging that her account was frozen on Saturday evening.

The X-rated model also claimed that she lost US$8000 amid the ban.

Another user who goes by @kanna_cosplay said that she cannot live without the money from subscribers, while a creator with the handle @black_way wrote she “doesn’t support the war but still feels like a hostage”.

Meanwhile, the proprietors of OnlyFans, in a statement to the Daily beast shared that “any available balances will remain secure and pending until such time when they can be withdrawn again,” adding that “while creators are not responsible for the recent attacks on Ukraine, due to the worldwide financial restrictions, we have very limited methods to pay later accounts linked to Russia and Belarus.”
