The squad list for the national senior Reggae Girlz team has been officially released ahead of their July 4 CONCACAF Women’s Championship kick off in Mexico.

The 24-member squad spearheaded by captain Khadijah ‘Bunny’ Shaw, consists of 13 players who were a part of Jamaica’s historic 2019 women’s World Cup team which also includes, Jody Brown, Havana Solaun, Trudi Carter and Sydney Schneider.

This comes after a solid week of intense training camp in Colorado in preparation for the next round of the championships.

The Reggae Girlz, who have been drawn in difficult Group A is set to open their fixtures against hosts Mexico on July 4, before tackling World Cup champions the United States on July 7 and Haiti on July 11.

The Championship are being used as qualifiers to the 2023 World Cup and Gold Cup Tournaments.

Jamaica is seeking to finish in the top two of the group which would see them automatically qualify for the World Cup.  However, third placed teams will advance to the inter-confederation play off for a place in the tournament to be played in Australia and New Zealand.
