Dancehall star Shenseea continues to create a web of excitement. The artiste is featured in the Spider-verse animation following the release of her track ‘Infamous (Spider-Verse remix)’ featuring Reggaeton superstar Myke Towers.
The track which was officially released on Monday forms part of the deluxe version of the animated film’s soundtrack which was updated on the weekend.
The Dancehall singer’s involvement in the project was hinted at following the film’s premiere on June 1 however, was officially announced on Monday with a reveal of the customized Spiderman man-themed graphic in the singer’s likeness along with the track’s name and feature.


The single which appears on track 17 of the deluxe edition is a Reggaeton/dancehall fuse and samples Barrington Levy’s 1990 classic ‘Broader than Broadway’, which adds that extra flare of excitement to the genre-bending track.
Levy’s distinctive vocals can be heard mixed into the beat for the bridge as a playful yet creative segue into Towers’ verse on the track.
Confirmation of his involvement is further noted in the details of the song where Levy is also credited a as writer alongside Shenseea and Towers.

The project continues to show Shenseea’s growing stature on the global music scene and only adds to the anticipation of her sophomore album which is set for release later this year.
