It has been confirmed that more Jamaican household have received increased remittances for the first two quarters of 2023.
This is following the recent Consumer Confidence Survey, which shows that Jamaica is on track to seeing a rebound in the number of household receiving remittances.
The survey found that 37 per cent of people surveyed received more money than three years ago, while 22 per cent say they received less.
Meanwhile, 31-per-cent of respondents say they are receiving the same remittances as before.
