Senegal Captain Sadio Mane looks set to be Cristiano Ronaldo’s new strike partner at Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr after Bayern Munich reportedly accepted a bid for the player.

Noted football Journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed the agreement between the clubs on Friday.

Mane’s future with Bayern has been a topical issue since his bust-up with teammate Leroy Sane last season.

According to reports, Mane confronted Sane in the team locker room following their Champions League exit at the hands of Manchester City, which resulted in a physical altercation between the players.

While Mane has apologized for his role in the incident, talks of an exit remained a theme in the German sports media.

This move for Mane will conclude a short stint with the Bundesliga champions after joining the club from Liverpool in 2022.

Although details around the proposed arrangement between Al Nassr and Mane have yet to be revealed, it’s believed that the forward would command a competitive salary.

Once all the paperwork is signed, he will join Steven Gerrard and Jordan Henderson as the third former Liverpool player to participate in the league.
