Uber Jamaica is no longer only available in Kingston & Montego Bay as they have announced that it has extended to the parishes of Hanover, Westmoreland, St. James, Trelawny, and St. Ann.
According to the company, “The move reflects our commitment to enhancing mobility and supporting tourism and the local economy.”
The company further states that Uber Taxi now available in several parts of Jamaica, proves its commitment, as it is seen as the go-to option for tourists.
Uber Taxi is a collaboration between Uber and the Montego Bay-based Maxi Taxi Association. This means, that users will now be able to request taxi services from contract carriage drivers affiliated with Maxi Taxi easily, via the Uber app which can be downloaded to any device.
