24 years ago on this day, Christopher George Latore Wallace aka Biggie Smalls was shot four times in a drive-by shooting in Los Angeles, California. The 90’s rapper has been said to be one of the greatest to ever do it. His assassination left many devastated.
He was born in Brooklyn New York, however, Smalls has two immigrant parents, both hailing from Jamaica. In a recent documentary aired by Netflix- Wallace is said to have home ties in Trelawny.
Biggie was known for working with the Bad Boy Records and had close ties with Lil Kim, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and Faith Evans.
He was killed three years after his first big hit- ‘Juicy’ from the Ready to Die Album.
