Sheffield Wednesday forward Jamal Lowe has replaced striker Leon Bailey in the Reggae Boyz squad for upcoming Nations League fixtures due to injury.

The Jamaica Football Federation(JFF) announced Bailey’s injury and replacement via social media on Monday.

According to the Federation, Bailey was ruled out of the fixtures in September after picking up an injury in Aston Villa’s game against Leicester City on Saturday.

The update comes less than a week after his re-inclusion into the squad after announcing a sabbatical from national duties following his suspension from the team in the lead-up to the COPA America tournament.

Jamaica is set to open their Nations League fixtures against Cuba on September 6 at the National Stadium before facing Honduras at the Estadio Nacional Chelato Uclés on September 10.
