Legendary actor Denzel Washington is set to be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe(MCU) after being drafted among the cast to star in the upcoming Black Panther 3 movie.

Washington, 69, confirmed his inclusion in the blockbuster action franchise during a Tuesday interview on the Today Show.

The “Training Day” star revealed that director Ryan Coogler is specifically writing his role in the highly anticipated third instalment.

The Oscar winner, who currently stars in the upcoming Gladiator II film, revealed that it will be among a brief list of movies he intends to appear in before he announces his retirement from Hollywood.
