A blockbuster reggae and rap collaboration is on the way as Rap Icon Buster Rhymes teams with International Reggae sensation YG Marley for the upcoming release of their single “Treasure and Gold.”

The collaboration, which will be released on Friday, was announced via Busta’s social media post and an eye-catching music video teaser.

It will be the latest collaboration with the Jamaican-born rap star and his fellow Jamaicans, following tracks with Skillibeng, Vybz Kartel, Sean Paul and Spice, among others.

The track will also come on the heels of his recent epic guest appearances at Vybz Kartel’s Freedom Street Concert at Kingston’s National Stadium on New Year’s Eve.

The single will also be the first official drop of 2025 featuring Marley following his monster breakout year in 2024, where he dominated several charts with his Billboard smash -“Praise Jah in The Moon Light”.

The Bob Marley-sampled single, which became the first reggae song to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 in over seven years [at the time], on its way to becoming a global anthem, racking over a billion streams on Spotify and Gold certifications in the US and UK.
