A policeman was killed in Gregory Park last night after he went to visit his five-week-old daughter.

The police constable, Jermaine Bennett was a member of the West Kingston Division.

Reports are that at about 9:30 p.m., Bennett arrived at the premises and upon reaching the location he was shot by unknown assailants.

Reports are that the Constable, 36, was shot in his head.

He is also a resident of the area.

His attackers escaped on foot.
