The highly anticipated Vybz Kartel remix of Moliy’s Billboard smash “Shake It to the Max” is loaded and set to be released this summer in time for his UK Wireless Festival debut in July, according to track producer Silent Addy.

Addi, one half of fast-rising Miami-based Dancehall soundsystem”Bashment”, which also includes partner in vibes Disco Niel, shared the update of the much-touted world boss refix during their recent sitdown with Billboard.

“We plan to release the Kartel remix closer to Wireless[Festival]”.

The timing, ofcourse seems very strategic, with Kartel set to make his much anticipated Wireless debut as one of the festival’s headliners on Day 3 alongside Drake on July 13. This means UK fans could potentially be the first set to get a live performance of the track, should it be added to his set list.

Moliy, who previously listed Kartel as her favourite dancehall act, also shared the stage with the Grammy-nominated “Dancehall Hero” during an epic guest appearance with Skillbeng and Shenseea to perform their smash remix at his sold-out Brooklyn Show at the Barclays Centre in April.

In addition to the Kartel drop, Silent shared that fellow dancehall juggernaut Sean Paul also has a massive remix loaded.

“Sean Paul just started his European tour, and he wanted to add [his remix of “Shake It to the Max”] to his set, so that’s in the works as well. He shot a music video in Morocco and everything, he was super hype. But right now, we’re letting the Skilli and Shenseea version breathe for a bit.

The pending drops are the latest in a growing list of major remixes for the track, which has undoubtedly been the most infectious release this year, appearing on several major charts globally, including the US Hot 100, breaking into the top 50 this week at 47.
