Spice’s 2021 radio smash “Go Down Deh” featuring fellow Dancehall giants Sean Paul and Shaggy continues to rack up the plays, underlining its hit status among the international market after officially being certified Gold in France.
The hit collab’s gold status in the European state was officially recognised with the certification over the past week, signifying an equivalent of 15 million cumulative streams (downloads + sales of Physical copies + online streams)

It’s the latest certification for the track, having secured platinum in Canada and qualifying for a Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) Gold plaque in the US for registered sales of more than 500,000 units in the country.
The single, which was released as part of Spice’s Grammy-nominated “10” album, has been an instant hit since its drop, has remained a major pull and fan favourites on playlists and events both locally and internationally.
“Go Down Deh” is not only one of Spice’s most commercially successful releases, but it’s also one of the most streamed dancehall songs ever on YouTube, with over 300 million views thus far.
It’s also one of at least three songs from the Queen of the Dancehall to register over 100 million views on the platform.
