Dancehall legend Bounty Killer is giving props to one of the genre’s current generation’s kingpins, Masicka, for his level of impact and music artistry.

“Masicka is one of the baddest things today”, Bounty said during a recent interview with online-based entertainment media outlet Boomshots TV.

“Where Lyrics is concerned, style, patterns, [and] consistency” are some of the superlatives the “Dancehall Five-star General” used to describe Masicka’s creative acumen.

He also praised the musical roundedness of the “Gennahysde” top man, content and delivery, noting that his music compels deep thoughts across generational eras of audiences, referencing his previous album (Generation Of Kings) as a classic that can always be listened to.

The two, of course, have previously collaborated on tracks including dancehall and sound system banger titled “Top Rank“, which has remained a massive pull, which they will have opportunities to perform live with Masicka, billed as one of the headliners of his highly anticipated Concert in New York.

The Reggae Fest-produced show at the Barclays Center, Brooklyn, dubbed the “Return of Bounty Killer, will mark his first official performance in the US in 15 years.
