Rap mega star Cardi B has reaffirmed her status among the greatest rappers of all time, as her sophomore album, “Am I The Drama?”, claims the record for the fastest-selling album by a female rapper to be certified platinum in the US, with registered sales equivalent to one million units.

The status of the highly anticipated project, which officially dropped on Friday (September 19), was unveiled by noted music analytics tracking page- ChartsData less than 15 hours following its release. Later, officially confirmed by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on Friday.

Friday’s record pace certification comes just over a month after being projected as a pre-release success, as indicated by chart data following its announced drop in June.

The feat marks an eventful climax to weeks of humorous promotional activities, which, of course, was only rivalled by this week’s pregnancy announcement with her fourth child and first wth new beau, football star Stefon Diggs.
