Following reports of possibly contracting COVID-19, producing a fake COVID-19 clearance, and evading COVID-19 quarantine in Ghana, Beenie Man has since then taken to social media to not only refute these allegations but give his fans an update about his current state of being.

This comes in light of reports from Citi News yesterday noting that the artiste had allegedly contracted COVID-19 and evaded quarantine guidelines in order to perform at a music festival.

The report also outlined that the artiste had escaped from the hotel and appeared on a number of social media sites before performing at Bhim Concert organised by Ghanaian Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy.

In his response on Twitter, Beenie Man noted that the allegations are baseless as he has not contracted the virus and is fully vaccinated.

“To my fans who are genuinely reaching out. I have no Covid, never caught covid before, tested NEGATIVE for Covid,” Beenie Man wrote. “Been travelling for the past 6 months Covid free. Fully vaccinated. I guess someone wants me to have Covid,” he added.

The dancehall artiste ended his Tweet by paying homage and noted that he is looking forward to 2022.

“Ghana was amazing,” he wrote. “Love & light to @stonebwoy and #BhimTeam. The Ghanaian Government Immigration, Health Team, Small Gad, Freedom, the whole team. #Ghana ah the best place inna the world. #BhimConcert21 looking forward to 2022,” he added.
