The undisputed King of Reggae, Bob Marley, again stamped his mark on Valentine’s Day after his iconic love song, “Turn Your Lights Down Low” ft Legendary Fugees singer Lauryn Hill, was certified silver in the UK.

The certification, which signifies sales of at least 200,000 units in the UK, was officially verified by the British Phonographic Institute (BPI) on Friday.

The certification marks another accolade for Marley on the significant February 14 date following the record-breaking feat at the US Box Office last year.

His biopic “Bob Marley-One Love” shattered the record for highest domestic gross for a Valentine’s Day release in the US after pulling an impressive $14 million in 2024 to erase the previous $11.5 million mark set by The Vow in 2012.

The feat is the second UK certification of the year for Marley after his classic Bob Marley & The Wailers- Legend album earned its 15th platinum plaque in January
