A 50-year-old Moroccan man was reportedly recently acquitted of sexual assault related charges for allegedly misrepresenting himself as a muscular Italian man on Tinder in order to have sex with a woman.

According to reports, this incident, which appears to be a case of “catfishing”, a 47-year-old woman filed assault claims against a plus-sized Belgian man of Moroccan descent, alleging that she was deceived into having an intimate affair with him.

It’s understood that the two who met on met on the popular dating app in 2018 agreed to role-play sexual activity inspired by the erotic novel “Fifty Shades of Grey”, which saw her being blindfolded for portions of the encounter.

It’s further understood that, during their consensual blind action, she noticed something off and decided to remove her eyecovering, which, to her amazement, saw that her suave Italian Casanova was instead a Moroccan man with a visible belly.

Consencrt was immdiaely withdrawn and rape filling subsquenly filed with the woman’s legal team claiming the man gained sexual access through deception. Claims, which were, however, dismissed by an Antwerp court with the judgment ruling that consent already given, further noting that agreeing to have blindfolded sex with a stranger inherently comes with its own risks.
