The track’s popularity was also verified on YouTube, pulling over 100,000 streams in its first 24 hours following its premiere on Friday.

“Good Good Gyal‘s” early success reaffirms D’Angel’s fervent fan base Internationally and the general pull of her music. It also underlines her bullish sentiment of being among the selected few on Vybz Kartel’s highly anticipated Freedom Street New Year’s Eve concert.

Kartel and D’Angel collaborated on one of her earliest hits-2009s, “Baby Father“, which remains a staple among throwback jugglings in dancehall playlists.
