Legendary Reggae Band Morgan Heritage was recognised for their continued work and contribution to music after being honoured with a Proclamation from the Congress of the United States Government and the Key to the City of Tamarac, Florida.

The iconic family Reggae collective received the double honour consecutively following their performance in the City on the Weekend.

The group shared the awards with fans online as they expressed gratitude for the recognition and continued support from both fans and respective officials.

Congresswoman Sheila Cherilus-McCormick and Tamarac’s Mayor Michelle J Gomez were on hand to present the official government proclamation and the symbolic “Key to the City” accolades.

While members of the Grammy-winning group had taken some time in between breaks to pursue their respective solo careers, the group has remained a solid, respected and well-received act both locally and internationally.
