R&B singer Kehlani officially premiered the video for her latest single, “After Hours,” which samples the iconic “Coolie Dance Riddim” by noted music producer Cordel “Skatta” Burrell on Monday.

The video premiere comes a month following the song’s official release on April 4 and is reportedly among the lead records for a new project. This is also Kehlani’s first song since the release of her 2022 “Blue Water Road” LP.

“Skatta,” credited as a writer on the record, also makes a cameo in the eccentric visual of the R&B/pop track.

The dancehall hitmaker also shared his excitement for the record under the teaser video.

After-hours” is the latest release on the hit-laced Dancehall riddim by an international act, which previously saw R&B/Rap group “Nina Sky” score their Billboard debut with -“Move Yah Body.” Latin musician Pitbull also recorded his hit “Culo” song on the same beat.
