Noted Actor and comedian Kevin Hart has closed all locations of his vegan-themed Hart House restaurant chain after two years.

The “Jumanji” star’s four Los Angeles area locations were officially closed for good — and without warning — This week, Hart House’s CEO Andy Hooper confirmed to food publication Eater.

“The response to the product has been incredible, and we thank our committed team, our customers, and our community partners for helping make the change we all craved, and for their unwavering support of Hart House,” Hooper said, The New York Post reports.

The eatery had four locations in Los Angeles County: Westchester, Monrovia, University Park and its flagship in Hollywood. They served vegan burgers, “chicken” sandwiches and nuggets, fries, tots, salads and milkshakes.

Hart teamed up with Hooper to develop a plant-based fast-food chain in 2020, before its 2022 launch after his dietary change to primarily plant-based foods, Eater reported.

Earlier this week, Hart House shared the closure via Instagram.

“A Hartfelt goodbye for now as we start a new chapter,” the post read.

“Thank you. To our team, guests, and community, who helped make the change we all craved.”

Hart has however yet to comment publicly about the reasons for the abrupt closure of a seemingly successful business venture.
