As anticipation continues to build for the upcoming Scary Movie 6, film star and producer, Actor Marlon Wayans, has hinted at several modern movie titles that are likely to inspire content for the comedic drama, which is reported for a 2026 drop.

According to reports, classic horrors such as “I Know What You Did Last Summer” and “Scream”, along with modern critically acclaimed thrillers like “Get Out,” “Nope”, and Sinners were among the discussed muse for content listed by Wayans during a recent sitdown with publication Comic Book.

“I Know What You Did Last Summer may have something in there. I think the Scream franchise is always a great one. I think Heretic was a wonderful film. Longlegs. Get Out. Nope. The Actor said, adding that there “are just so many great horror films to pull from that we plan on having a field day. Sinners.”

The Scary Movie 6, which will mark the official return of the iconic Parody-themed franchise, is reportedly scheduled for release next summer with a majority of the ‘OG’ stars, including Wayans actress Regina Hall, and Anna Faris who are expected to reprise their beloved roles as Brenda and Sarah.
