Masicka, Vybz Kartel, Sheneea, Popcaan, Spice were among the Dancehall stars who scored top honours at this year’s Entertainment Arts and Awards (EAEA) following the results of the recent Africa-based ceremony.

The results of the saw Kartel and Shenseea dominate their respective categories leading the way with 3 awards each.

In the male section, Kartel showed why he still reigns as picking up The Best Male Caribbean Artist, Best Male Dancehall Artist, and Best Male Performer-Caribbean, with Shenseea also sweeoing the same categories in the female section.

Queen of the Dancehall Spice was acknowledged for lyrical prowess, claiming the “Best Female songwriter-Caribbean” Award.

Popcaan and Masicka were major pulls at the recent awards, besting their peers to jointly share the “Best Male Vocalist-Caribbean” Award.

Fellow heavy hitters Vanessa Bling, Gyptian also claimed honours on the night, taking the Best Male Songwriter, “Best Female Recording Artist respectively.
