The “Unruly Boss” was a special guest in attendance at the Canadian-based team’s 8-1 league game win over the US team, the Arizona Diamondbacks, on Wednesday.

While it could be argued that Poppy’s appearance not only generated a buzz among the fans but also may have boosted the winning aura of the team, the victorious connection further touts the Dancehall giant’s massive appeal in the North American Country.

It also highlights the growing connection between the team, fans and Reggae and Dancehall culture with Jamaican and international music Icon Shaggy previously making a special appearance at a game, which included throwing the coveted ‘first pitch‘ last year.

Poppy, who has been in the North American country since last week, on music engagements, has been creating waves with his music video for his recently released viral single “Snapchat“.

The overwhelming approval for the track, which has been among the trending topics online, has been reflected in streams, with the video amassing over 260,000 streams on YouTube in its first two days.
