Multi-platinum selling Dancehall artiste Sean Paul continues to prove that he remains in high demand after racking up another plaque of recognition. This time a gold certification for his collaborative effort with artiste and producer Oryane titled ‘Love mi Ladies.’
The track which was released in April 2020, was officially recognized to have acquired gold status in France this week, which certified that the track has massed the equivalent of 75,000 units sold in the European country.
Dutty Paul took to Instagram on Tuesday to share the news with his fans, posting a picture of the commemorative Gold plaque to recognize the achievement along with collaborator Oryane Wilson.
“#Lovemiladies-CERTFIED GOLD IN FRANCE!!! BIGUP 2 @ORAYANEWILSON” he captioned the post.
Also giving taking the time to give props to the record label El Cartel Music, under which the track was produced.
This latest feat adds to the gold plaque he received just three weeks prior, for his radio hit ‘Got 2 Luv U’ featuring Alexis Jordan.
The 2011 release track which was the lead single for his Tomahawk album, was officially certified as Gold in the UK, having sold the equivalent of 400,000 units in the country.
The milestone reaffirms that the musical ‘Scorcha’ is still blazing with a track record of hits and is showing no signs of cooling down anytime soon.
In fact, it only adds more fuel to the push for his lates project Scorcha; his seventh studio album which was released in March and comes on the heels of his Grammy nominated ‘Live n Livin’ project.
Dutty Paul has been raising the roof on his Europe tour and North American in promotion of his Scorcha album.
