Dancehall titan Sean Paul again underlines the compelling multi-generational appeal his music continues to command internationally, as his “Dutty Classics Collection” album has officially been certified platinum in the UK for sales of 300,000 units.

The 2017 release, a compilation project of some of his all-time classics, was officially updated to platinum status by the British Phonographic Institute (BPI) on Friday.

The project house Billboard smashes like “Gimme The Light” “, Get Busy” “, Like Glue” “, Temperature“, along with Anthemic drops “We Be Burning”, “Give It Up To Me“, among other chart-dominant releases from various albums by the “Dutty Rock” boss.

All of which have individually earned various platinum, gold and multi-platinum certifications in the UK among his already expansive trove of plaques and awards in the territory.
