Fans of Afrobeats giant Davido will also enjoy a taste of the Jamaican flavour as Dancehall Shenseea and 450 are among the features on his upcoming album “5ive.“
The “If” hitmaker revealed the dancehall features during his sit-down on the “Bootleg Kev” podcast as he expressed his love for Jamaican and Caribbean culture.
Davido of course, is no stranger to linking up with Jamaicans, having previously teamed up with Popcaan for their mega-hit “Risky” and most recently with Reggae sensation YG Marley on “Awuke”, which helped whet the appetite for his album promotion.
It’s the latest Afrobeat link for Shenseea, who has also worked with fellow megastar Wiz Kid for work on his 2022 drop “More Love, Less Ego” before linking up again for her 2023 Grammy-nominated album- “Never Gets, Late Here” as her presence in the continent continues to expand.
The feat also highlights 450’s growing appeal within the international music industry, expanding his global collab list having previously worked with rapper NLE Choppa who remixed his hit single “Bad Gyal”.
The connection also speaks volumes as to the “levels” of quality work they can expect from his own debut album “Pieces of Me,” which is set for release on April 25.

Before that however, fans can get a taste both Dancehall acts when Davido’s project drop’s on April 18.
