It’s a Jamaican artiste link-up for Hot 97’s Winter Jam as Shenseea, Ding Dong, Jada Kingdom, Byron Messia and Teejay are among the acts set to perform in New York on December 30.

The Dancehall stars were listed with Soca heavyweights Rupee and Bunnji Garlin in what appears to be a dedicated Caribbean music segment of the show.

Additionally, fast-emerging Dancehall artiste Nadg was also billed among the confirmed acts for the event.

The inclusion of so many Dancehall acts in this year’s staging of Hot 97 Winter Jam reaffirms the resurgence of the international mainstream interests in the genre.

Messia and Teejay both earned Billboard debuts for “Talibans” and “Drift” respectively.

Rap stars Rick Ross, Meek Mill, and new sensation Lola Brooke will headline the Hip Hop side.
