The international impact of Reggae/Dancehall icon Miguel “Sizzla Kalonji” Collins was further underlined after receiving an official Proclamation for his contribution to the music and culture throughout his career.
Council General Oliver Mair was on hand to present the accolade of recognition to the “Give Me A Try” hitmaker during a ceremony in Florida on Thursday.

Several of Reggae music’s notable names such as Damion Marley and his brothers Stephen Ky-Mani super-producer Jon FX, Dancehall A-lister Cham along with Reggae greats Nadine Sutherland and Anthony B, were also among the present in a show of support for the occasion.


With a catalogue spanning over 30 years, and more than 90 albums and countless classics under his belt, Sizzla has cemented himself as one of global music’s most prolific artistes to do it.
