Dancehall’s front-runner Skeng Don, is proving his current dominance of the entertainment space after his newest single ‘Simple Dutt’ joined his ‘Gang Bang’ single among the top three most trending music content on the island.

Simple Dutt, which was released on Sunday, has already amassed over 440,000 streams in its first 48 hours catapulting it to the number three rank on YouTube.

The track is the artiste’s fifth top three trending effort in the last four months following previous charters such as Protocol, Gvnman Shift, Taliban, and London and his most recent Gang Bang.

Skeng who shot to prominence following his break out year in 2021 has developed the midas touch as with virtually all is releases since being among the most in demand content locally as well as overseas.

Gang Bang which was premiered two weeks prior, shot almost immediately to the top of the streaming, landing at number 1 after two days with over 900,000 views.

While Simple Dutt has virtually halved that those figures, it has not prevented the track from coming close to replicating a similar trend of bullying it’s way among top streamed content.

Only Alkaline’s ‘Static’ separates back-to-back placing of his videos, with Gang Bang going into its third week at the summit.

Given his currency at the moment he’s only expected to increase notoriety going into the summer season of events and beyond.
