Another major Reggae/ Dancehall collab is on the way as Skip Marley enlists Masicka and Ding Dong for the remix of his chart-topping single “Close” which is set to Premiere on Friday.

The remix premiere was announced in a joint social media post by Marley and Dingdong.

Fans were full of praise and anticipation for the link-up, which was already predicted to mirror the hit status of its predecessor.

“Close” which samples Maxi Priest’s 1990 hit “Close To You” was an immediate hit among fans following its release last October, with the music video topping Apple Music streams for in Reggae multiple weeks.

The drop will be the second Masicka featured release within the days following the release of his “Whites” remix with rapper French Montana on Tuesday.
