The title of the “World’s Fastest Man” was again drawn into focus following a British GQ’s post about Bolt’s retention of the crown during his appearance at their Men Of The Year Event on Tuesday.

Several online users rallied around the ‘accuracy’ of the publication’s description of the iconic Jamaican King of Speed while capturing his appearance at the exclusive event in the UK.

Bolt, who was among several high-profile personalities at the event, caught the attention of paparazzi lense for his opulent yet simple classy style during his red carpet walk

Despite a few comments seemingly showing some dispute of the caption the overwhelming consensus was of commendation and appropriateness of the post.

Controversy erupted online over the crown leading up to the Olympics after several US media outlets labelled US World and Olympic 100m champion Noah Lyles the fastest man due to his championship golds despite ranking behind Bolt over 100 & 200m in the list of all-time fastest times.

His personal bests of 9.79 in the 100m and 19.31 in the 200m places him 12th and third, respectively, over both distances, headed by the Jamaican with eye-watering World Record times of 9.58 and 19.19s.
