The newly married Attorney-at-law and media personality Khadine “Miss Kitty” Wilkinson and her husband, Ian Wilkinson, KC, are expecting their first child.

The announcement was made on Friday during the CVM TV morning show, Sunrise.

As the station’s tagline goes, ‘See it happen’ – that’s what Jamaica and the world saw, with the revelation dubbed “Big Introduction – New Co-host” which had many curious. For the past week several viewers speculated that either Lisa Hanna, Terri-Karelle Reid or Krystal Tomlinson were the top contenders for the “new cohost” seat.

Miss Kitty and Dennis Brooks (the main hosts for Sunrise), were coordinating an interview as they would normally do, this time it was with an Obstetrician-Gynecologist, Dr. Chris-Ann Simpson-Harley, who spoke about women’s health.

Following the interview, the OB-GYN showed the main part of her job which is to check and assess the woman’s reproductive health. Miss Kitty was being used as demonstration when the announcement of a child was made.

Digicel also shared in the celebration and brought Miss Kitty a few items she will need as a mommy to be.

She was then joined by her husband, Ian and CVM’s boss Oliver McIntosh who congratulated the happy couple.
