Social Media platform TikTok is officially back among the downloadable apps in the US after being restored in Apple’s App and Google’s Google Play stores.
The popular app was officially reintroduced to the US platforms on Thursday, three weeks after being pulled following its January ban in the country went into effect on Sunday, January 19.

TikTok’s restoration as a downloadable app is the latest move and arguably the most poignant update in reintegrating the social media platform since President Donald Trump put a pause on the US ban after taking office in January.
Trump signed an executive order seeking to delay the enforcement of the ban by 75 days, allowing TikTok to continue its operations in the US temporarily.
As of Friday, Tiktok returned as the number one most-downloaded free app on the platforms.
