Outspoken Reggae artiste Queen Ifrica has raised strong concerns about Jamaica’s current state of affairs, questioning the seeming lack of patriotism in society and the industry to retain the country’s traditional values and principles.

The “Times Like These” singer, known for her unapologetic social commentary, expressed her thoughts via social media post on Thursday.

Speaking about the noticeable shift from traditional values facilitated by external influences, Ifrica queries about the seeming unwillingness of persons with a “maroon spirit” to stand resolute amidst deviant attitudes deemed in contravention of acceptable norms.

She also concluded her message with a chilling note of caution as to the future if things remain unchecked.
