Vybz Kartel continues to prove that the demand for his music internationally remains ever present after his 2016 smash ‘Fever’ was officially certified silver in the UK.

Fever which was released as a single from Vybz Kartel’s King of the Dancehall album officially received its certification on Friday from the British Phonographic Industry (BPI).

BPI’s silver certification shows that Fever has registered the equivalent of 200,000 in sales in the UK territory.

The feat continues to show that there remains high demand for deejay’s music internationally as it comes almost three years after the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) certified Fever with Gold status in 2023 for registered sales of 500,000 units.

Kartel who released his ‘True religion EP’ In September which was dedicated to his new fiancé Sidem Ozturk, had also announced the pending release of a new project as part of his “Exiled Pharaoh” series in December.
