Dancehall World Boss Vybz Kartel has confirmed that his highly anticipated wedding to fiancée Sidem Ozturk will happen in 2025.

“Yeah we definately getting married this year” the Kartel quipped during his interview on top-rated New York-based Radio Station Hot 97.

While updating fans of his planned nuptials this year, Kartel has kept the specific date of him officially tying the knot close to the vest.

Last year, the Grammy-nominated deejay had previously shared that the wedding would be on his birthday (January 7), creating an overwhelming buzz about a planned New Year ceremony.

Fast forward to April 2025, Kartel has confirmed the wedding plans remain on course. It’s however now unsure whose birthday it may be orbiting or if that concept remains a factor.

The “Fever” hitmaker is in New York preparing for his upcoming show in Brooklyn this weekend, which will be his first performance in the US in 20 years.
