Dancehall Heavyweights Popcaan, Skillibeng, Shenseea, Spice and Valiant and Reggae star YG Marley have all been nominated for a star-studded Best Caribbean Music Act Award for the 2025 MOBO Awards.

The all-star assembled list was among several highly anticipated and keenly contested categories revealed by the awards on Wednesday.

Given the stellar year all nominees have had in 2024, both domestically and internationally, the honour remains a wide-open category for anyone.

The announcement represents the third nomination for Spice, Shenseea while previous winners, Skillibeng and Valiant, both earn their second with the only debutant in the category.

The award ceremony is slated to take place in Newcastle on February 18 ,2025.
