Zip Jock Bruce Lee is grateful for the outpouring of support and well wishes from social media users all over as he grieves the passing of his wife earlier this week.
The ZJ took to social media thanking his followers and the wider public for their concern for his well-being in his time of sorrow.
“Thanks to everyone for the overwhelming smoral upport being given at this time. I probably would have done something stupid or worse but Iam enduring,” he shared.
“Its just that the whole ordeal is burnt into my brain and every time I see her picture I remember how badly she was treated and that is heartbreaking enough to know that life itself has lost it value to material things. If you see me heading down a path that’s not healthy, help me to stay vigilant, calm, while finding Nirvana (Peace Of Mind),” he shared on his Instagram page.
The emotional message drew an additional outpouring of support and encouragement from social media as they expressed shared grief with the situation.
On Friday, Lee shared a video of the prolonged wait, he and his ailing wife had to endure before getting medical attention for her. The video shows the ZJ venting his frustration of the lack of service being rendered to his family before finally being attended to.
He also remonstrated the hesitance by doctors to inform him of details on how his wife passed, which added further emotional strain to the already tense situation.
The incident throws the health care system into the spotlight, which underscores their level of inability to manage the volume of cases in the local hospitals, as well as the overall care provision in the sector.
On Wednesday, it was reported that major hospitals across the country were at 90 per cent capacity, according to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr Jaqueline Bisasor-McKenzie.
